I am currently living in the Seattle area, where my husband and I have been for six years now. Seattle is full of opportunity and with lots of fun things to do.
I am originally from Central Michigan and I visit the Grand Rapids area at least once a year to visit my family whom I miss a ton. Before leaving Michigan, I earned my Associates degree in Visual Communication and my Bachelors in Technical Education from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. In 2009, I finished my second Bachelors in Graphic Design from the Art Institute.
A couple times a week, I have the pleasure to teach the Art 360 class at the Renton community center. This is part of the special needs programs and in this class we explore many different art mediums including crafts and painting. I am always inspired by the participating artists. They are all very creative and they are always teaching me new things.
Currently, I’m looking for new opportunities in the design field either freelance or temp-to-hire. I love the creative process and my passion is helping people.
